Bio
Our research focuses on neural mechanisms that are responsible for linking perception and action, including decision-making and controlling information flow in the brain, and how such processes are impaired in psychiatric and neurological disorders. We use a variety of techniques, including the analysis of behavior, recording and/or manipulation of brain activity, and computational modeling. With a background in electrical engineering, I am also interested in the development of neuroengineering technology that makes the life of neuroscientists easier, enables previously impossible experiments, or might even find translational applications.
