Bio
My research interest is to engineer new tools and approaches to improve novel drug discovery and development for therapeutic purposes. My long-term goal is to develop new therapies for neural disorders, that can improve patients’ lives by providing more selective, efficient therapeutic options to clinicians. Currently, I am working on engineering new activity-dependent probes for tagging activated neural ensembles during some behavioral experience, and for enriching the molecules that are expressed in that subset of cells for further downstream analysis.
