Bio

My research is centered on investigating how ethological salience is represented within the frontoparietal attention network using the rhesus macaque model. Utilizing advanced high-density recording techniques and deep learning algorithms, my goal is to understand the population coding underlying visual attention and anticipate eye movement patterns based on neural activities. Ultimately, this endeavor seeks to advance the development of visual neural prosthetics by enhancing our understanding of visual attention mechanisms.
