Bio

Dr. Randy Carney leads a team of young researchers studying tiny biological particles called extracellular vesicles (EVs) and their potential to improve cancer detection and treatment. His research explores how EVs can serve as powerful biomarkers for disease and be engineered for targeted drug delivery. The lab aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and real-world healthcare, developing translational tools that could one day lead to earlier cancer detection and more effective, personalized treatments.
