Emily’s research investigates the neurobiological mechanisms underlying psychological stress and the therapeutic potential of psychedelics, with an emphasis on elucidating the role of serotonergic signaling in the limbic system and cerebellar circuits and how these pathways influence affective behavior and contribute to the development and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
