Bio

Anand serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory for Intracranial Neurophysiology, where he utilizes explainable machine learning and statistical learning-based frameworks to analyze complex intracranial data. He is also actively engaged in the design and development of responsive neurostimulation (RNS) systems aimed at recording and analyzing iEEG data and behavioral metrics during cognitive tasks. During his doctoral studies (Sept. 2019-June 2024) at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, Assam, India, Anand conducted comprehensive analyses of epileptic seizures using EEG and MRI data, integrating machine/deep learning and statistical learning-based methodologies. He holds a Master of Technology degree (2015-2017) in the department of Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, Kolkata, India. 

In his leisure time, Anand enjoys net surfing, delving into history and geography, playing cricket and badminton, and savoring tasty and spicy foods.
