Bio
My research interests involve the neural control of lower extremity function following stroke, computational modeling, and neuroprosthetics. My current projects investigate severity in lower extremity motor impairment following stroke; and the candidacy of Paired Associative Stimulation (PAS) as an adjuvant therapy for patients with neurological walking impairments. Characterizing the severity of walking dysfunction following stroke as a function of biomechanical and neurophysiological variables will contribute to fundamental knowledge that can enhance the health of, and reduce the burden of disability for, individuals who have had a stroke.
