  • share a challenge you have to find out how others approached it
  • share particular skills you have that could be helpful to your peers
  • present information about companies or other organizations (NIH Intramural Research, FDA, foundations, etc) that are of interest to you for future internships and jobs, etc
  • practice a presentation for your thesis updates or for conferences
  • practice presenting a poster
  • promote your lab through lab hosting and/or a lab tour

Graduate students, postdocs, undergraduate students, and other junior researchers are invited to give presentations to and have informal discussions with a friendly audience of their peers.
