NeuralStorm: Neuroengineering and Machine Learning Practicum

Event Date

Location
Teaching and Learning Center room 3213

This practicum will introduce students to brain-machine interfaces (BMIs), programming, and applications of neural data.

The practicum will run throughout Winter Quarter 2024 every Tuesday from 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM in Teaching and Learning Center room 3213 (TLC3213). Topics by Date Below:

Feb 20 (Prof. Moxon, BME) – rigor and reproducibility and how does it relate to neural data
Feb 27 (Prof. Nitta, CS) – using Github and docker as a container for virtual environments
Mar 5 (Prof. Wang, BME) - managing virtual environments, good programming practices, and being “Pythonic” when programming

Please refer to the flyer document below for more details.

NeuralStorm events are open to all students interested in furthering their current knowledge in the field of neuroengineering.
